Yesterday Erica and Garth flew in to Zurich and took the train to Innsbruck. Today, Jim, Josh, Erica and Garth went skiing on the Zugspitze. They said there was tons of new snow! You can see Josh trying to get out of the deep snow. They had to ski on the pistes though, because the visibility was low.

Visibility was so low that Jim tipped over twice, not knowing which way was up. Josh decided to go off-piste and then proceeded to ski into a ditch. There was a five foot wall of snow that he had to climb over to get back on trail! We went skiing in Germany, and were unimpressed with the customer service. There was not one place open to get a beer as we waited for the last train. Not to mention that we missed the first train up the mountain by two minutes (and then the next one left in an hour). We were so close!!
